My Methods

I want to deliver the finest service for you, and I believe that is best achieved by getting to know you a little first. I offer a style questionnaire followed by a face to face meeting. We can meet in Brighton in the comfort of my salon (by appointment only). Alternatively we can go online with a Zoom meeting. There we can discuss you and your requirements in some detail, enabling me to get the best start with the service you choose.

-Hidden Gems: Wardrobe Consultation

This service takes place in your home after your initial appointment and agreement on the exact scope of the service. I will travel to your location (for free if within the Brighton area, reasonable travel expenses charged if further) and there I will get to work on your wardrobe assessment and curation advice.

-Get Dressed: Concierge Shopping

After your initial consultation at the salon, I get to work finding the best pieces for you, while we book your follow-up style-on appointment at the salon. On that day, I will present the clothes I have chosen, allowing you to try them on, understand my choices and get the best advice on each outfit I've selected. Take your pick from the pieces I select for you: pay for those you wish to keep and I will return anything you don't.

-Glory Days: Period Costume

Book a consultation with me on Zoom where we can discuss your exact needs, then agree on a scope of work. Depending on the requirement, we can set up follow-up appointments at your location or in the Brighton salon as needed.

Bookings

Ideally, I need 5-7 days' notice for you to fill out my questionnaire and make sure our time together is the most productive. To make an appointment please use the online booking form on this site. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable when booking a service appointment, in order to secure your preferred time and start the questionnaire phase.

Cancellations/Rescheduling

Please ensure you give 48hrs notice if you wish to reschedule an appointment so that I can accommodate other clients and continue to work on other services. We can try to find a more convenient time for you to continue the service. Failure to give 48hrs notice will necessitate the forfeiture of your deposit. Cancelling your appointment altogether will also result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

Session Times

I'm available for appointments on certain days throughout the week and on most Saturdays. You can see live calendar availability in the booking section on my website. Salon hours are usually 10-6 on working days. There is ample parking nearby and we can sit together in a relaxed environment, getting to know you a little before discussing next steps. Alternatively we can work over Zoom for the initial appointment. For onsite visits we can arrange a time that suits you best, allowing for travel time depending on your location.

Location

I am based in Brighton but cover a large area across London and the South East. I'm also willing to travel further for larger projects, please get in touch to discuss.

Participants

Sessions are for you as an individual, I can't be as effective with others joining us at the salon or being consulted mid-session. I find that if you trust yourself and trust me, we will always get the best outcome for you. While others may be well meaning, I'm confident we can find what's right for you by working together in this way.

Payments

I accept secure online payment for deposits at time of booking and credit/debit card payments in person at the salon for any balance or clothes purchases. I don't charge a mark-up on clothes, you pay face value for any clothes or accessories I purchase to present to you and that you wish to keep. All services are to be paid in full before commencement of site visit or shopping sessions. All clothes purchases must be paid in full before leaving the salon.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are a great way of giving someone else a chance to experience my services. Book and pay for any of the services and I will send out a personalised voucher, valid for 12 Months. The recipient can book in a time that suits them and we can start the chosen service. Please use the contact form to let me know what you have in mind and get further details.
